I'm currently a Software Development Engineer at Amazon in Denver on the Device Metrics team (since September 2025), where I work on telemetry infrastructure for Fire TV and other Amazon devices — most recently a device-identity resolution layer for a metrics ingestion pipeline handling 5.8M batches/sec and 10T+ metrics/day, and an AI-powered natural-language interface for querying telemetry across Redshift, DynamoDB, and Athena.

Before that I spent four years (October 2021 to September 2025) on Amazon's Privacy & Consent Tooling team, where I led the design and rollout of the PaCT framework — the consent engine running across 200M+ Fire TV devices on FireOS, AOSP 14/15, and a new Amazon-internal OS. That work involved a lot of cross-platform plumbing: Soong build customizations, write-once-deploy-everywhere artifact generation, and boot-time constraint workarounds.

Earlier (2017–2021) I was at Charles Schwab, progressing from intern to SDE III across two teams — a full-stack document retrieval app (Angular + .NET Core + SQL with CI/CD) and the Schwab Intelligent Portfolios robo-advisor platform.

I have a BS in Computer Science from CU Boulder (2018). When I'm not at a keyboard I'm probably outside — 30 fourteeners climbed and counting, currently in a marathon training cycle, plus hunting and fishing seasons. Indoors: lifting, reading, the occasional PS5 binge.
